MOON. COSMIC. POWER.
I hear the theme song every time I look at this painting haha. This is my contribution to Nico’s awesome SailorMoon themed art show!
Basically, this weekend. Aug 16th in Los Angeles at Meltdown Comic’s Nerdist showroom, come by to see MEATBALL HEAD, a 100+ artists’s take on the most famous magical girl of our generation! The show features so many of my favourite artists/collegemates! I’m really sad that I can’t be there in person, but please stop by if you’re in the area! It’s sure to be a blast!

STEPHEN COLBERT STEPS OUT OF CHARACTER, OFFERS HEARTFELT ADVICE TO YOUNG WOMEN

Stephen Colbert wants to talk to you about your boyfriend.

When Colbert sat down for Rookie’s “Ask A Grown Man” segment, he did so as himself, instead of the brash character he plays on his show.

STORY TIME:
A couple of nights ago, I went into the studio with a group of friends. My friends played pictionary to study for an art history test while I painted. One my friends brought her adorable six year old daughter, who, after a while, walked over to me and asked if she could watch me paint(and of course I couldn’t say no to such a cutie!). I happened to have an extra canvas and paints, so I went ahead and let her use them. We talked about van Gogh, what colors would mix to make great pinks, and a summer camp she went to and oH My GOsh SHE WAS JUST SO FUN TO PAINT WITH AND TALK TO! And we both did paintings with dots! She added a pretty awesome frame to hers :) eringeebees:
